Savannah, GA

This is a shot of the old car wash on the corner of 37th and Price. My first apartment in Savannah was just down the street from here, back when it was still going strong. A structure fire finished off the business a couple years ago, but it still sits there. This picture was snapped by Savannah's favorite rock n roll folk artist painter Panhandle Slim aka Scott Stanton. 

St. Paddy's Day in Savannah

Say what you will about the hundreds of thousands of people who crowd the streets - a lot of them are apocalyptic-drunk, ill-mannered and/or en route to try out as extras for Jersey Shore - there is also an amazing sense of tradition, community and fun. A few shots from this year's parade that I shot for Connect, which although no final tally is complete, is most likely one of the largest ever.
