This is a nice joint for a chilly day spent outside waiting for the bus, which is most of how I spent today. Two amazing Savannahians - Brittany Bosco and KidSyc. From Bosco's Spectrum 2.0.
I had the pleasure of seeing Brittany perform in December at show in ATL. She's leaving behind the chopped up jazz/soul for a harsher, more psychedelic blues - like Janis Joplin-esque, but with a little more edge. Crazy brilliant. They did a 16 minute version of "Summertime" that pretty much shattered every expectation you could have for that timeless tune.
Meanwhile, KidSyc is hard at work on a new project The K.I.D. which should be readily available soon. Here are two new tracks of his, produced by Alex Goose, whose Blueprint 3 Outtakes is a monster. Big Up to the Big Up.
