A1R is a new label headed up by Gonjasufi and Sound in Color co-founder Jon Ancheta. Their specialty will lie at the confluence of psychedelia, hip hop, soul, electronic and dirt. First Serve

Most days, I don't wake up expecting to hear that members of De La Soul are collaborating with some french producers on a concept album, but lo and behold, that day has come. The project is known as First Serve, and the first musical taste is sweet.

Native Tongues Reunion

Dres of Black Sheep pulled together the old Native Tongues crew (including Q-Tip, Dave from De La and Mike from the Jungle Bros.) for this new cut called "Birds of a Feather." It's smoother than the hand full of pick up lines that actually work.
