The leaks off this El-P x Killer Mike album just keep getting better. I wish more cats swapped bars like this. Vet move. You don't always have to do 16 and a hook.

If I went back in time to 2003 (which was probably right around the time when El-P's Fantastic Damage was in constant rotation) and told myself that 10 years later Killer Mike and El-P would be one of the hottest collabs of the 21st century, I would've told myself to fuck off. One of my favorite hip hop songs of recent memory. No jive. If you're not on that El-P x Killer Mike R.A.P. Music, you need to be. Politics and hip hop are inextricably intertwined, regardless of what Wayne or Gucci says. Reaganomics is a major part of hip hop's origin. Understand that.

This is the 3rd track we're hearing from Killa Mike's new album R.A.P. Music, which is produced by El-P and released via Williams Street (aka Adult Swim). This thing is some 21st century post-digital Public Enemy. Angry and conscious and grimy. Dig it.

MoogFest
Big Boi, Devo, Girl Talk, El-P, MGMT, Cee Lo, Caribou, Hot Chip...
It could be a list of some of my favorite artists who really changed how I listened to music...and it is just a few of the amazing shows that will be going on during MoogFest in Asheville, NC at the end of the month. It's going to be completely chainless.
The whole schedule is crazy.
