"Fire" video debut

KidSyc@Brandywine, Jubee & the Morning After, and Floco Torres - jamming at the Social Club on Congress St. It'll be everything you wanted from a live music show but were afraid to ask for. Syc (ala psych, not sick) and the boys will be debuting their new video for "Fire." Shout out to the guys from Savannah Film Co.

When Hipsters Attack

When Hipsters Attack is a local super group featuring members of Pilot Scott Tracey, Hot Pink Interior and many more. They debut at the Jinx this Saturday, followed by a set from KidSyc@Brandywine. There are scant few details on the WHA set, except that it will involve elaborate staging, a hipster pageant, and some kick ass jams. Check out my interview with Scott Stanton in Connect this week. We discuss hipster-related violence, Chuck Norris and moustache wax.

Halloween

Halloween is a serious holiday in Savannah, and there's no shortage of good shows this year: This affair, hosted by Safe and Sound, features an eclectic troupe of electronic and similarly inclined folks. Magic Places has some new tunes on bandcamp that are worth a listen.
Saturday night also features KidSyc@Brandywine over at HangFire, or, if you want to get a little more tripped out, the place to be is at the Jinx for GAM and blood wrestling (an activity, not a band).
