Late Night Radio

Been digging this. Sort of takes me back to old RJD2.

Thee Dang Dangs

What are the chances of posting bands that start with "Thee" twice in a row? Some really cool, dirty, psychedelic surf rock. Their newest endeavor was recorded and mixed by Alex Anderson of ManCub.

Thee Myghty Fine

A delicious blend of future beats, indie rock, jazz and more. There's a lot of music on the internet, but this absolutely deserves your attention.

A.Poco.Lips & Sean Geisthardt

Nice collabo between beatsmith A.Poco.Lips and guitarist/producer Sean Geisthardt (Tulip Wars, Goer). Smooth listening for the summer evenings.

Force Publique

Stumbled across Force Publique after Alex from ManCub mentioned working with James Wayne (1/2 of FP) in an interview. This is from a 2010 demo and it lands in the confluence of Joy Division and Adult. Electro-post-punk with an appropriately grimy texture. I'm loving the first track, "Ache."

Cusses "Worst Enemy"

Big shouts out to the Savannah folks behind this gem. Bob Jones on the camera and editing + Angel and the two Brians (Cusses) for kicking out the jams. Rawwwk. Cusses debut album will be out later this year and it's going to be off the chain.

Re:Fest

The debut of the 2012 Green Events Guide is paired with food, awesome local bands, pet adoptions and much more...

Kjunya "Puttin My Life on These Beats"

I love this track, and not just because I did the beat. Welcome to the South. Download a copy here.

KJunya "Take Me Back"

It's not a proper video by any stretch of the imagination, but the track is ridiculous. If you ever listened to Tupac, you might be feeling this...seriously...it's like that Savannah. Go here to download a copy (Use this link if you re-post; please do not re-host the file)

The Dirty Covers compilation

Jeremiah Stuard (of Savannah-based band HOWLER and t-shirt designer/printers WABCO) has assembled an impressive compilation of really eclectic cover songs by a really eclectic set of Savannah acts like Dare Dukes (folky-alt-rock), Magic Places + Britt Scott (electronic), Cusses (Dance-Punk), Black Tusk (swamp metal) and many many more (including a re-edit of mine).
The album release will be at the Jinx on July 27, in conjunction with Rock N Roll Bingo. It's gonna be awesome.
