A great video recapping the second Taste art event out at Meddin, which took place last month. 12 hours of art, music, performance, beer and mayhem.

Big shout out to Raabstract for spearheading the organizational efforts. Also many thanks to all the artists - KidSyc, DJ D-Frost, Hebermehl, Basik Lee, AFW, Cusses, Jose Ray, Dr. Z, Rrrrumps (who destroyed shit late night), Cousin Dan, Word of Mouth and many more. Also a personal thanks to P.Villa for the 40s on the back porch.

Taste and DTM
Two excellent art events coming up in Savannah in April.
Taste was the last great hurrah before the old Meddin meat packing facility was converted from studios into a state of the art digital production facility. There were artists, bands, live painting, suspension acts, a fashion show and beer - what else could you want? Taste is returning April 30 thanks to Raabstract, and if you want to get in on the art stop by here for more info.
According to Raab:
Down the road at Studio 2-Ten will be a show called Destroy the Masterpiece - a gallery exhibit of graffiti and street art type stuff that will open at the same time, meaning you can wander from Desoto Ave to 2-Ten (less than 2 blocks away) and check them both out.

Stopover Sessions #1.5
Another segment of the video from the inaugural Savannah Stopover Sessions at Meddin Studios. Shot and edited by the infamous Bob Jones, who is equal parts man and machine and starring Cusses. I make a very brief cameo, including a comment at the end of the video.

Stopover Sessions #1
Local rockers Cusses came out to Meddin last week to record the first-ever Savannah Stopover Session - it was supposed to be a dry run, but Cusses was so awesome that these couldn't stay hidden for long. Normally, thrashy and raucous, this was the last song of the evening, and in honor of the first Stopover Session, also the first time Cusses had done an acoustic number.

Meddin Mural
Check out this awesome time lapse video of Hebermehl and Dr. Z doing a mural on the west side of the Meddin Studios building. (Plus, I thoroughly enjoy that they kept in the family with a track from Dope Sandwich)
