This is an epic experimental breakbeat extravaganza. If you like GLK jams, get with some OGs.

Bonobo
Bonobo's back with his first new album in 3 years. The sound fits his paradigm (laidback, intelligent), but the aesthetic has gotten a definite update. Much less jazz-heavy trip hop and much more of an IDM vibe.

Random Goodness #5
Another round-up of completely unrelated things that leaped from the depths of the aether into my consciousness:
- The Arts Desk has an awesome interview with Gonjasufi wherein he discusses his transition from hip hop into whatever psychedelic-electronic-mayhem he unleashes on the world now. Definitely worth checking out if you've enjoyed any of his recent records.
- Downtempo beat maestro Bonobo just did a mix for Ninja Tune's Solid Steel radio. It makes a pleasant musical backdrop for a variety of activities.
- Stones Throw announced they're releasing a 2nd installment in the Minimal Wave Tape series. If you like to get down with post-punk/new wave electronic music from the late 70s and early 80s, then you definitely don't want to miss that.

ESKMO (Lorn Rmx)
I posted a video for a new ESKMO track a week or two ago that was pretty awesome, and I really enjoyed Lorn's LP
, so when I saw Lorn remixing ESKMO, I didn't have a doubt that this was going to be off the chain.
Check out "Come Back" (Lorn remix)
ESKMO's album eponymous album is out on Ninja Tune 10/19. Mark your calendar.

ESKMO
I've been a bass quest lately (shout out to DJ Landline). There's just so much good stuff coming out right now that it's hard to ignore. Esteemed electronic label Ninja Tune's addition to the bumper crop of young talent is ESKMO. Check out this track and it'll be no surprise that he's collabed with the likes of Amon Tobin (who I don't think gets enough credit for pioneering a whole other sound that heads are really just now catching up with)...
