EASTGHOST
Loving the vibe of this. Lots of smart snare work. Sort of a throwback to the Japanese future-jazz of the late-1990s (think Computer Soup, etc.).

Atlantics Vol. 3
Astro Nautico is mentioned fondly by future beat fanatics on a regular basis because the label's releases represent with quality and variety. That matters when it comes to the deluge of beats being produced these days. Their newest compilation doesn't disappoint.

Glucose
This is what happens when you make music while working at a sensory isolation chamber: Apparently it frees up some time to unleash some crazy IDM/Jungle reminiscent of early Squarepusher, Jega, etc. And seriously, that's his actual day job.

Trips
Let it build. Some laidback, crunchy leftfield house. That lovely retro, micro-chop pattern aesthetic.

Bonobo
Bonobo's back with his first new album in 3 years. The sound fits his paradigm (laidback, intelligent), but the aesthetic has gotten a definite update. Much less jazz-heavy trip hop and much more of an IDM vibe.

Glucose
This new EP, Telepathic Octopus, from Denver-based producer Glucose is crazy. Some of the most ruckus-inducing, old school IDM/Jungle possible, like Squarepusher put out a record on Jungle Sky before flipping his shit.

Checkers "Leisure Sports" EP
Bocce ball, croquet, lawn darts -- who doesn't love leisure time activities. Denver-based producer Checkers' debut EP is equally great, straddling dub traditions and progressive IDM theoretics.

My favorite album right now
This Project Mooncircle release Long Arm's The Branches is definitely my favorite thing to listen to right now. Beautifully textured beats that run from experimental hip hop to jungle-tempered IDM. Lots of rich, emotive piano samples. Definitely worth grabbing a copy here
