Unda "Tomorrow Never Comes"

Props to Unda doing his thing on this new EP called Tomorrow Never Comes. Bangkok to ATL, he handles all the production and spits on a couple tracks too. Definitely feeling the opening tune "Dear Aquarius," but there's jewels scattered all the way from front to back. The material is considerably darker than some of his past work, a symptom of some things he was going through last year. Give it a listen:

Speak Easy "Coronas, Condoms and Cigarettes"

Speak Easy aka Sean Fahie drops his second free album this week. The ATL-based MC and visual artist also had a show with the same name "Coronas, Condoms and Cigarettes." It's sort of a guide to gully living. Noteworthy production from Danny! and Unda, among others. You definitely need to be down with this.

Soon Is So Far Away (Redux)

 The folks at Blunt Guts Nation have just put up this collection of remixes, and they are worth checking out. Lots of mellow, spacey vibes (the first joint will hit with fans of Erykah Badu's Madlib collab). This Blind Prophet remix caught my attention for it's chill dubstep vibe. Nice early set track to get the heads nodding.

Unda the Villa

Unda and P.Villa, residents of the Blunt Guts Nation, just dropped this mixtape of beats and it should not be slept on. Unda came through the SUAF beat battle yesterday (he was defending his title), and played some new stuff that is going to melt heads in the near future. This time around, Unda doesn't just get it on the beats though, he does some rhyming too - more of the Guilty Simpson school of rap than Big Daddy Kane, but he makes it work.
If you like your jazz spacey, your samples choppy and your beats knocking, then this is a must have.
